Dear Quincy Residents:
Comments to MEPA on the proposed "Merrymount Park Pedestrian Boardwalk ENF" project are crucial. There was strong resident opposition to this project at a recent Quincy Conservation Commission meeting on June 2, 2021. And because of that opposition the Commission continued this agenda item until July 7, 2021.
The Conservation Commission cited the reason to continue was to wait and hear the report from the Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act (MEPA). We can move the commissioners to end this project right here, by making our comments to MEPA.
The deadline for comments is Tuesday, June 15, 2021.

Please see our presentation below to understand why we are opposed to this project. There is a section that lists our concerns, as well as, the concerns expressed by residents at the Con Com meeting on June 2, 2021.
Please send comments to MEPA. They don't have to be elaborate comments; those that can decipher Tighe & Bond's ENF report below, please comment fully. Let MEPA know, if you don't believe this project is in our best interests.
You can use either MEPA's online portal to "Make a Comment" at MEPA's website, or email your comments directly to Erin Flaherty at Erin.Flaherty@mass.gov and CC: to MEPA@mass.gov. Please be sure to include in the subject line of your email "Merrymount Park Pedestrian Boardwalk Project #16371".

We will keep you updated on this project moving forward. Any questions or comments, please email us at quincymakingwaves@gmail.com
Thank you for your time,
